The ROYALS originated in the mid 1980's and the Royals Youth Centre was opened in 1999. Supported by a team of dedicated volunteers the ROYALS is a charity dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families in the Rainham area.
Open 7 days a week from 9am-10pm there are over 15 groups who use this centre on a weekly or monthly basis and an average of 1500 people walk through the doors every week. The majority of the work done at the Royals is aimed at young people but we also run programmes and activities for the whole community.

We have 2 flat screen TV's, various games consoles, DVD player, D.J’ing equipment, computers, internet access, an outdoor sports cage, a café (open on selected club sessions) offering hot and cold food and drink, lots of arts and crafts stuff. As well as all this there are regular trips and events happening throughout the year.
The sessions are run by a mix of ROYALS staff, volunteers and youth workers supplied by Havering Integrated Youth Service.
The ROYALS runs a holiday programme alongside Havering and other partners to give the young people a varied choice of activities.
