Young people have been attending Century Youth Club since the 60's.
Situated in a small Victorian school, youth club members have seen many changes over the years.

Lately, this small building which is full of character has been given a major makeover.
The main lounge, with its high ceilings and large fireplace has been transformed into astriking and modern room, reflecting young people's tastes and ideas.
A stainless steel coffee bar, halogen lighting and huge red and blue sofas are some of the features in this area.
A computer area is at one end of the lounge, and at the other end is a wide screen TV. Along the corridor is a poolroom, and across from that is the hall, which is ideal for sports, badminton for example.

Century also boasts a fully equipped kitchen and groups from other clubs often visit to use the catering facilities.

Upstairs are small meeting rooms and offices .

The club is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Nightly admission is £1, membership is free.
Although the club has all the resources for traditional recreational activities, pool and table tennis for example, members have the opportunity to take part in projects varying from health workshops and discussion groups to cooking.
